The HDMI-DN301AE 3 HDMI inputs to 1 HDMI display switch allows the extraction of audio from the active HDMI input and sends it to the optical SPDIF output or the stereo RCA socket on the switch for a connection to a separate amplifier or surround sound decoder. The HDMI-DN301AE supports 4K x 2K as well as 1080p HD including 3D. It also supports the audio return channel to return audio from the display to the switch and on to the amplifier. This facility can be switched from the front panel or the remote control.
This HDMI-DN301AE Switch takes up to 3 seperate HDMI inputs and switches between them to produce a single HDMI output. Connect sources such as DVD or Blu-Ray to the inputs using HDMI cable of up to 10m in length then connect display equipment such as a TV or projector to the output using HDMI cable of up to 10m in length. One of the sources can be either an MHL device or an HDMI device.
This HDMI-DN301AE switch prevents unnecessary connection and disconnection of HDMI cables as they can all be permanently connected and switched to the display by this device, either by using the front panel switches or the remote control.
The HDMI-DN301AE will extract the audio from the active HDMI input and send this to the optical SPDIF output or the stereo RCA sockets on the switch, for connection to a seperate amplifier or surround sound decoder. Various audio formats can be selected up to 5.1 channels (when 5.1 is selected the amplifier must be capable of decoding DTS or Dolby-AC3 modes).
