The HDMI-DN301AE 3 HDMI inputs to 1 HDMI display switch allows the extraction of audio from the active HDMI input and sends it to the optical SPDIF output or the stereo RCA socket on the switch for a connection to a separate amplifier or surround sound decoder. The HDMI-DN301AE supports 4K x 2K as well as 1080p HD including 3D. It also supports the audio return channel to return audio from the display to the switch and on to the amplifier. This facility can be switched from the front panel or the remote control. -
