mHub 2K 4×4 supports 1080p resolutions up to 50m / 164 ft, over a single Cat 6 cable from four source devices to four displays with two-way IR and ARC (on RX). Four additional HDMI outputs can be used for integrating AVRs or mirrored displays. Control is delivered through TCP/IP, RS232 or direct IR with a range of third party control drivers available to download free of charge.
Setup is quick and simple with mHub 2K 4×4 . Every box includes one matrix with 12V PSU and rack mounting ears, four receivers with 5V power adaptors, IR kit, a small matrix remote and four USB to 5V power leads.
Since being released in the summer of 2014, mHub 2K 4×4 has been praised for its speed of switching. Stephen Withers, Assistant Editor of AVForums, found that “the switching was seamless and there was no degradation of signal, with the system performing exactly as advertised.”
Control is delivered through TCP/IP, RS232 or direct IR, meaning mHub can be easily integrated with third party control systems. The EDID management tools enable the highest resolution audio to be passed to an AVR via the mirrored HDMI outputs, whilst video is sent to the display location. mHub 2K has discretely routed IR passback, discrete matrix control via IR and forwards IR routed to displays. All mHub 2K 4×4 matrixes are sold as complete install packages. In the box, dealers get access to everything they need for an 4×4 install: a 1U rackmountable central hub with rack ears and 12V PSU, four display receivers with 5V PSUs, IR kit, a small matrix remote, and four USB to 5V power leads.
