How do I know if my MacBook is compatible with this product?

Check which chip your MacBook uses.
1. If it has an Intel, M1 (non-Pro/Max), or M2 (non-Pro/Max) chip, with iDock M10, your MacBook can only extend to one external screen.
2. If it has an M3 (non-Pro) chip, it supports two extended monitors when the lid is closed, but only mirroring when the lid is open.
3. If it has an M4 chip or any Pro/Max version chip, your MacBook can extend to two external monitors.

Does this product support DisplayLink? Do I need to install any software or drivers?

No, this product does not use DisplayLink.
1. You don’t need to install any software or drivers. It is totally plug-and-play.
2. You will be connecting to your MacBook using the in-package dual-head USB-C cable. You can also use two separate USB-C cables of your own.

How does the LAN port connect and work?

The LAN port on iDock M10 can be used to connect your router or switch, providing network access to both your laptop and desktop simultaneously without interruption when switching between them.

Can I use iDock M10 with a Mac Mini or Mac Studio?

Yes. If you want to connect a MacBook and a Mac Mini/Mac Studio, please confirm:
1. Both your MacBook and Mac Mini/Mac Studio use a Pro chip or an M3 chip (or above).
2. The Mac Mini/Mac Studio has enough ports (adapters can be used) to connect to the HDMI, DP, and USB-C ports labeled “② Desktop” on iDock M10.

Can I use iDock M10 together with an existing docking station?

If you connect the docking station and iDock to separate USB ports on your laptop, it won’t affect your use. However, if you connect the docking station to the laptop and then connect the iDock through the docking station, compatibility issues may occur.
